NIGHTCLUBS IN ITALY SET TO REOPEN
After almost two years, nightclubs will be allowed to open throughout Italy. The date of the reopening has not yet been confirmed by the Italian government, although the mayor of Milan said it was time to "reopen discos and clubs with all relevant regulations and a Green Pass."
Green passes will become mandatory for workers in Italy from mid-October, which means everyone must have one or more of these three: negative test, proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery.
Green passes will now also be required to enter nightclubs and bars - along with indoor masks, although they can be removed while dancing.
The opening date has not yet been set, but it will be available in the coming weeks. According to the CTS (Technical-Scientific Committee), clubs will only be allowed to open at 35% indoor and 50% outdoor seating.
