Ariana Grande‘s newest single '7 Rings' absolutely crushed Spotify‘s 24-hour streaming record.

Ariana’s recent single reached nearly 15 million plays on January 18, the day it released.

'7 Rings' acquired 14,966,544 global plays in 24 hours.

The previous owner of the record was Mariah Carey, who broke through with 10,819,009 streams on Spotify thanks to her classic holiday song 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'. 

By the way, Ariana’s previous single, “thank u, next” is also among the greatest 24-hour record holders on Spotify.
